Israel’s attorney general, Gali Baharav-Miara, has accused Shin Bet chief David Zini of hindering an investigation into alleged voter fraud. Later in the evening the Shin Bet chief said he wanted to question four Arab politicians but had not provided evidence for three of them. An election official also rejected pressure from coalition figures again, saying the law requires official results to be published the following day.

Opposition party leaders met in Herzliya to coordinate before meeting President Isaac Herzog, who will decide who receives the mandate to try to form a government. Yair Lapid warned of a grave and dangerous attempt to undermine the election result, while Avigdor Liberman said a government could be formed without the Arab parties and that another election must be prevented.

Reporting note: the fraud claims are allegations. This summary relies on one outlet’s live coverage.
