VolcanoDiscovery’s worldwide round-up for 2 November 2026 lists activity at Santiaguito, Fuego, Krakatau, Semeru, Ibu and Dukono, among others. The same service also reported a significant magnitude 5.8 earthquake about 26 km north-west of Chaparral, Colombia, in the early morning, and publishes daily world earthquake and volcano reports for 3 November.

Reporting note: we could not open the detailed pages, so this item sticks to what the published listings state and does not include damage or casualty figures. Earthquakes of this size, and eruptions at volcanoes like these, occur many times a year. Read the original reports for details.
